"Physician Focus" looks at age-related eye diseases

The August edition of Physician Focus, the monthly healthcare educational program form the Massachusetts Medical Society, features the medical specialty of ophthalmology and takes an in-depth look at four conditions of the eye that lead to blindness and whose frequency increases as people age.  The program will explain cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy and discuss their symptoms, available treatments, and what patients might do to
prevent or delay the onset of these diseases.
