This creative course will provide students with instruction on how to get the most out of their own digital cameras while taking the best photographs possible. Important camera controls will be explained and in-class exercises will allow students to develop and improve their aesthetic and technical skills through practice and in-class discussions. Students will also spend some class time editing their photos for printing or sharing on the Internet. Enrollment is limited to six students.

Instructor Gordon Nelson is an artist, filmmaker and photographer with 12 years of teaching experience and has had his films screened at MoMA and MassArt.
